We are aware that we are asking you to place your trust in us to provide us with some financial help for our organisation. Unfortunately, there are cases of uneconomical use or even abuse of money from donations. The structure of our project is of a small and manageable size. Every expense, not matter how small, is recorded and its purpose checked. Thus, we guarantee that all means are used for a good cause and not spent on unnecessary administrative costs or purchases.
Every sum of money is spent by us personally and against receipt only (which is not always easy to get in Kenya). In this way only can we ensure that the transactions are transparent and justifiable to our sponsors.
At the end of each financial year a certified accountant examines our expenses with regard to taxes and tax-deductibility.
